'ay' phonics homework

This week we are going to do our texts a little differently. This week, as well as including your spellings in the paragraph, I would like you to use as many synonyms for 'said' as you can and I would like you to use speech marks at least once.
There is a house point for everyone who posts their paragraph here on the blog!

  1. To day I am going to help my mum bake some cakes, I have a lovly apron which has a picture of a rainforest with a snake in the tree . My aim is to bake fairy cakes. My first instrucion is to weigh some flour and well I think you know the rest of it . My mum says I am not alowed near the oven so I have to obey her for safety reasons because if I fail to do this I can get burnt and be in a lot of pain. I hope my cakes are ready so I can take them down to the lake for a picnic with my best friends jenna and hannah.

  4. On Saturday I was walking along the pavement with my neighbour Kay. She still had her apron on so I asked her "What have you been doing today?" She replied without a delay, "I have been making some buns today." I started to complain and she burst a big vein and never was seen again!

  10. I was getting ready to go to a football match in Liverpool with my dad. We had to choose a siutable suitcase because I threw the blue one away. I found a wooden one and that was an improvement. we began to cruise towards the airport when my toothpaste began to ooze through the zip. In the moonlight I could see this was not going to be fruitfull. Next the movement made the shampoo explode and I was left with a bruise. I was now in a bad mood and my cruel dad made me go to the match a different route. Next time I think I'll go in a canoe.

  11. I was going to the football in Liverpool with my dad. He said "you'd better choose a suitable suitcase because you threw the blue one away." I found a wooden one which was an improvement. Then I shouted "my toothpaste is starting to ooze through the zip!" We continued to cruise along in the car. The movement made my shampoo explode and I ended up with a big bruise.
