    These include:

    medicine
    chocolate - Chocolate is made from cocoa. Cocoa pods grow on trees in rainforests.
    sugar
    spices - like ginger, allspice, pepper, cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, turmeric and paprika.
    rubber
    pineapples

    2.Giant bamboo plants can grow up to 9 inches a day.

    3.The trees of a tropical rainforest are so densely packed that rain falling on the canopy can take as long as 10 minutes to reach the ground.

    4.In the moist rainforests of South America, sloths move so slowly that algae are able to grow in their fur.

  5. Rainforests are importagennt to the world because the trees that make the rainforests up provide oxygen for us to breath.
    We would be dead with out any rainforests or trees in the world.
